From his grandma’s kitchen in Amritsar to his own restaurant in New York with the name “Junoon”, the Chef Vikas Khanna has spread his charm far and wide. He has served food to the Obama family, gifted his book to the queen and he is the only chef in the world to penned down the most expensive, a 1,200-page book titled “Utsav – A Culinary Epic”. It took 12 years to compile this book and was auctioned for Rs 30 lakh that went to feed 2 lakh underprivileged children through an NGO he is associated with.
Adding another feather in his cap, this award-winning Michelin starred chef has made it to the list of Top 10 Chefs In The World by Gazette Review. This list features some of the great chefs in the culinary field from around the world. Vikas Khanna features on the sixth spot on this list.
Vikas Khanna’s description in the Gazette Review said ” Most famous Chefs are American or French, but Vikas Khanna is one of the first Indian Chefs to receive international acclaim. Since 2011, his main restaurant Junoon in New York City has received a Michelin star. Khanna has also collaborated with many other famous chefs.”
